What you are buying, what we need from you, what we will not print, and where the limits are.

This is a template, not legal advice
These terms ship with the TapCard codebase as a realistic starting point. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and they are not tailored to your business, your jurisdiction or your actual practices. Have them reviewed before you launch publicly — particularly the sections on liability, refunds and personal data. This draft assumes a Pakistani seller and business buyers.
These terms govern your purchase of designed and printed cards from TapCard.pk. Placing an order or creating an account means you accept them.
Nothing here limits your rights under Pakistan’s consumer protection legislation, including the Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005 and the Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2014. Where a term conflicts with a right those Acts give you, that right wins.
An order buys you a design service and a printed product:
There is no subscription and no renewal fee. Payment cards keep working regardless of us, because the code on them is your bank’s own. Review cards use a TapCard short link so you can repoint them later; we undertake to keep those links resolving, and if we ever cease trading we will publish the mapping so your codes can be redirected elsewhere.
You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the logo, name and artwork you send us, and that we may reproduce them on your cards. We do not check trade marks on your behalf.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the links and account details you give us. We check that a review link resolves and that a payment QR scans, but we cannot know that a bank account number is the one you meant. Check the proof carefully before approving it — approval is the point at which the design becomes final.
We may show finished cards in our portfolio and on social media. If you would rather we did not, say so on your order and we will not.
For a payment card you send us the QR your banking or wallet app produced. We redraw it cleanly onto the design and print it. We do not create, modify or intercept payment credentials, and we never hold funds.
A receiving QR only lets a payer send money to you; it cannot withdraw from your account. That is why they are displayed openly in shops. Even so, you should scan the printed card yourself before putting it out, and tell us immediately if you close or change an account so we can reprint it.
We are not a party to any payment made by scanning your card. Disputes about a payment are between you, the payer and your bank.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at shoptapcard@gmail.com if you think someone else has access, and change your password — doing so signs out every other session.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Accounts are for businesses and the people who run them.
We will not design or print a card that:
If we find out after printing that any of the above applies, we will stop the order and keep any work already done. Deliberate misuse ends the relationship without a refund, and we will cooperate with a lawful investigation.
Prices are shown in Pakistani rupees and include any applicable sales tax. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.
Cash on delivery is our default. The courier collects the full amount on the doorstep. Bank transfer is also available — the order is recorded as awaiting payment and design work starts once the funds reflect, which the confirmation page and your emails say explicitly. Where card payment is offered it is processed by a third-party provider on their own hosted page, and no card details reach us.
If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before starting work and you may cancel for a full refund rather than pay the corrected price. We will not simply charge the higher amount.
Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees, and the design stage depends on how quickly you send details and approve a concept. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us. Full detail is in the delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.
Custom-designed cards are made to your specification and cannot be returned for a change of mind once approved for print. Your rights to cancel, return and be refunded — including for faulty or damaged cards — are in the returns and refund policy, which forms part of these terms and does not limit your statutory rights.
We warrant that your card will arrive undamaged, printed as approved, with a code that scans. If any of those is not true, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we reprint and resend at our cost.
We warrant the print against wear in normal indoor counter use for 12 months. That does not cover physical damage, outdoor exposure, immersion, solvent cleaners, or a card that has been drilled, glued or otherwise modified.
We cannot warrant anything about the destination itself. If Google changes how review links work you can repoint your short link from the dashboard at no cost. If your bank reissues your payment QR the card is still a good card, but it will need reprinting, at our discounted repeat-order rate.
Our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law does not permit that limit — including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost reviews, or payments misdirected because of account details supplied incorrectly on a brief and approved on a proof.
Reviewer note: liability caps are the clause most likely to be unenforceable if copied unchanged. Have this section reviewed against Pakistani consumer law before you rely on it.
The TapCard name, logo, site design and software are ours. The artwork we produce for your card is licensed to you for your own business use, including reprints through us. Your logo and brand remain entirely yours; we claim no rights over them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
